The plot of the film "Brotherhood of Weavers"

A thousand years ago, the brotherhood of Weavers was created. How – history is silent. But it is known that it included people with unique abilities to kill (and weaving, of course, whatever). What exactly didn't you like? I didn't like the abundance of special effects – in "Hollywood movies" they somehow adhere to reality. Timur went too far here – there were a couple of episodes when I was almost ashamed of "ours", well, it was too senile (cars flying over each other, shots from a sniper rifle 5 kilometers away, flying 0.5 seconds, etc.). Then, the characters shot the whole movie crookedly. I'll explain now. In the film, it is believed that it is possible to fire a conventional semi-automatic weapon along a curved trajectory. Moreover– it is almost "twisted" (that is, the bullet goes around an obstacle, and then aligns the trajectory and hits the target). I've never fired anything, but something tells me that you can't do that. At the end of the film, one of the heroines fired a pistol in a circle so that her bullet entered her temple (she shot to the left, the bullet entered from the right). They went too far.





The ending of the film is also "about nothing", there are no hints of a sequel. Even more – in theory, the main character should have killed himself (fulfilling the will of the Great Loom), but he, "snacking on a sandwich," kills the last "villain" and seems to live on happily. But without a penny of money, but at the same time he claims that he can do all sorts of things (which is unclear) and in general the guy is doing well. Maybe he killed himself after the movie? It's hard to live with a killer's skill, but without money, huh? He's not evil, he won't become an assassin. It's unclear, in short.

What I liked and was pleased with. I was pleased with the implicit Google advertising (twice in the film the hero typed something into it). Well done, Timur! Yandex must die, as a seoshnik I say!

I liked that there were at least two plot twists that I was surprised by (they will seem trivial to those who haven't watched, but the film is fascinating, so it's also a surprise for the viewer): It turned out that the killer that Chief Hero was chasing throughout the film was his father, and that the Great Loom had actually been weaving the names of all the brotherhood members for a long time (that is, they should be killed), but the "boss" of the brotherhood hid this and began killing people to please himself (including father Chief ger. ’a).

I really liked our friend Khabensky, who plays a Russian in the film.



It was especially funny when he gave the main character a cork of some rubbish to drink, the dialogue:

gl. ger. – Is this vodka?Khabensky – Yes, Chief Engineer – Are you Russian?

The film didn't become cool because nothing really ended, what happened next is unclear, there are too many special effects, some moments are not thought out and it seems that the director has completely fallen into insanity – this is not a Matrix where everything is possible.

My bottom line: I liked it, but I wouldn't review it. For those who want to go to the cinema, I recommend the morning session (because tickets are cheap and money will not be spared). And it's better not to watch on a computer or on TV at all – there will be no feeling of drive, only the feeling of a crazy director.
